The Ministerial Decree mandates that the producers and importers must comply with ES 7880/2015. Producers and importers are given a transitional period of six months.This standard applies to "Uniform provisions concerning the approval of pneumatic tyres  for motor cycles and mopeds". New pneumatic tyres for vehicles of category L1, L2, L3, L4 and L5. However, it does not apply to tyre types designed exclusively for the "off-road" use, which are marked "NHS" (Not for Highway Service) and to tyre types designed exclusively for competitions.This standard complies with UNECE Regulation No. 75.
