The Ministerial Decree mandates that the producers and importers must comply with ES 262-1 /2015. Producers and importers are given a transitional period of six months.This Standard applies to steel for the reinforcement of concrete.This Egyptian Standard covers technical requirements for plain bars to be used as reinforcement in concrete for nine steel grades not intended for welding. It also applies to plain bars supplied in coil form.This standard complies with ISO: 6935-1/2007.
