This Ministerial Decree mandates that the producers and importers of pencils and coloured pencils must comply with ES 7986/2015. Producers and importers are given a transitional period of six months to abide by the Standard.This Egyptian Standard specifies the pencils and coloured pencils used for general writing, drafting, drawing and leads for them. This Standard is technically identical with modifications with JIS S 6006/2007 + A/2013. The modifications are mentioned in Annex (A) from this Standard.
