This draft Uganda standard specifies the requirements and test methods for children's shoes of children age 2 years and below. It covers all types of materials, constructions and designs. The draft Standard intends to give specifications for children's shoes (2 years and below). It will assist footwear manufacturers and merchants in getting value for their products. In addition, it will give the general consumers of the product bases to choose the products from an informed state. The main purpose of this draft standard therefore is to provide a basis for evaluating the quality of children's shoes (2 years and below).
