The purpose of these Regulations is to provide guidelines to the nuts and oil crops industry and provide for:

(a) The application processing procedures and forms;

(b) The conditions for registration and licencing of produce and product dealers and nursery operators;

(c) The recommendation of general industry agreements or contracts between produce dealers and nuts and oil crops producers;

(d) The compliance with quality and safety standards;

(e) The harvesting, processing and marketing of nuts and oil crops;

(f) The filing of statistical returns;

The imposition and administration of levies; such other matters as may be deemed necessary for effecting these Regulations.
