Joint Order No. 203/MARHASA/MICA/MS/MEF establishes the quality control requirements for sesame for export originating in Burkina Faso. All sesame exporters must comply with the Burkina Faso sesame export specifications and phytosanitary and quality control procedure manuals prepared for this purpose, and the obligations set forth in this Order. Analysis is mandatory and systematic for each batch of sesame to be exported, regardless of the region or country of destination. The technical services responsible for quality control must ensure the effectiveness and authenticity of laboratory analysis results before issuing the inspection note certifying that the quality of the batch is in line with third-party requirements.
