Products covered: Edible Fats and Oil (67.200.10) This addendum concerns the notification of adoption, publication, and entry into force of regulation: The Ministerial Decree No. 1111 /2016 (1 pages, in Arabic) that gives producers and importers a six months transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 8041/2016 "Edible fats and oils not covered by individual standards" (10 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified as a draft in G/TBT/N/EGY/89 dated 21 August 2015. Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with Codex Standard No. 19/2013 for Edible Fats and Oils Not Covered by Individual Standards Bailey's Industrial Oil and Fat Products (volume 1) sixth edition (2005) Ministerial Decree No. 515 /2005. Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette. Date of adoption: 13 November 2016.
