This Rwanda Standard applies to fresh garlic of varieties (cultivars) grown from Allium sativum var. sativum L. to be supplied fresh, semi-dry or dry to the consumer. Green garlic with full leaves and undeveloped cloves and garlic for industrial processing are excluded.
