The Ministerial Decree No.1002/2017 gives the producers and importers a transitional period of six months to abide by the Egyptian standard ES 8087/2017 specifies the relevant characteristics and the appropriate test methods to determine the characteristics for wood-based panels, enfaced, overlaid, veneered or coated.

Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with EN 13986 : 2004.
