Ministerial Decree No.1002/2017 gives the producers and importers a transitional period of six months to abide by the Egyptian standard ES 8030 referred to parts. It establishes test procedures for measuring the performance of full-flow lubricating oil filters for internal combustion engines. It has been prepared in separate parts, each part relating to a particular performance characteristics.

Together the tests provide the information necessary to assess the characteristics of a filters This standard supersedes the flowing Egyptian standards No:

- E.S no.2005 /2005

- E.S no.2006 /2005

- E.S no.2007 /2005

- E.S no.2008 /2005

- E.S no.5066 /2005

It is worth mentioning that the referred to parts of ES 8030 are identical to ISO 4548 parts 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,12,13,15
