Products covered: Domestic electrical appliances in general (ICS 97.030) This addendum concerns the notification of draft of Egyptian Standard ES 6000-3 "household refrigerating appliances –characteristics and test methods –Part 3: Energy consumption and volume" (108 pages, in Arabic), which will supersede the current Egyptian Standard ES 6000-3 Which was mandated among others by the Ministerial Decree No. 241/2016 (3 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/157 dated 15 August 2016. Worth mentioning is that this draft standard complies with IEC 62552-3/2015 Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.
