The Ministerial Decree No. 1307/2017 gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 8134 /2017 which is concerned with the essential requirements for mounted spectacle lenses relative to the prescription order (multifocal and progressive-power lenses)

Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with ISO 21987:2009
