The Ministerial Decree No. 1307/2017 gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 8106/ 2017. This standard specifies the safety requirements of OLED tiles and panels for use on D.C. supplies up to 120 V or A.C. supplies up to 50 V at 50 Hz or 60 Hz for indoor and similar general lighting purpose.

Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with IEC 62868/2014.
