The Ministerial Decree No. 477/2018 gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 4101 which covers the design, construction, operation, inspection and maintenance of stations for fuelling compressed natural gas (CNG) to vehicles, including equipment, safety and control devices.

Worth mentioning is that this standard is identical with ISO 16923: 2016.
