This draft Tanzania Standard specifies the requirements for upholstery fabrics of woven, knitted, flocked-pile, and velour types (all of which may be latex-backed) suitable for use in the manufacture of upholstered furniture for contract or domestic use, and which can also be used in the manufacture of movable office partitions, Polyvinyl chloride (PV) coated fabric and Polyurethane (PU) coated fabrics

This standard does not cover Long pile fabrics.
