This Decree regulates the Registration and Handling of Foods for Special Dietary Uses (FSDU) that are specially processed, prepared or formulated to satisfy particular dietary requirements, or requirements that exist because of specific diseases - including foods intended for feeding infants and children, diets for use in weight gain or reduction, and stimulant, fortified and appetizing foods – as established by the Codex Alimentarius Commission.
