The Ministerial Decree No.103/2019 gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by these Egyptian standards ES 5057-1,5057-2 which specify the minimum requirements concerning material, design, construction and workmanship, manufacturing processes and testing of refillable transportable welded carbon steel gas cylinders of water capacities from 0.5 l up to and including 150 l for compressed, liquefied and dissolved gases.

It should be noted that these standards cancel and supersede the Egyptian standard ES 5057/2006 "Liquefied chlorine gas cylinders of water capacity 420-840 litre refillable welded steel – design, construction and testing"(37 pages, in Arabic).

Worth mentioning is that these standards adopt the technical content of EN 13322-1:2003/A1:2006, EN 13322-2:2003/A1:2006.
