It should be noted that the draft of this Egyptian Standard ES 1654 was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/202 dated 9 January 2019. Worth mentioning is that this standard is identical with modification with EEC 59/92, EEC 405/73, EEC 242/82, EEC 542/89, EEC 379/88. Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette. Proposed date of adoption: 7 February 2019. Proposed date of entry into force: 7 March 2019.
