It should be noted that the draft of this Egyptian Standard ES 8220 was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/190 dated 4 September 2018. Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with EN 1888/2012. Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette. Proposed date of adoption: 7 February 2019. Proposed date of entry into force: 7 March 2019.
