The Government through the office of Head of Public Service appreciates that the cost of transacting business and efficiency at Ports of Entry is dependent on actions by the government Agencies, shipping lines, clearing agents as well as the cargo owners. It is therefore critical to have proper coordination and harmonization of various intervention measures in order to achieve the desired goals. The government has done so by reducing the government Agencies at the ports of entry.
