This Committee Draft covers the following aspects of the safe disposal of pesticide waste and empty pesticide containers:
a) general precautions to be taken during the use of pesticides;
b) directives for the disposal of pesticides waste;
c) directives for the decontamination and disposal of empty pesticide containers; directives for the treatment of pesticide spillages and leakage spillages and leakage, and the action to be taken in the case of fires and freight emergencies that involve pesticides.
