The Kingdom of Morocco wishes to inform WTO Members that the transition period for the implementation of the new control procedure for industrial products, originally planned to run from 1 February to 20 April 2020, has been extended for two months until 19 June 2020. Therefore, from 20 June 2020, economic operators will have to assess the conformity of industrial products subject to regulatory control upon importation as set out in notification G/TBT/N/MAR/28 of 18 December 2019, namely: · At the Kingdom's border points for the following products: auto parts, construction products, wood panels, gas appliances, wire rods and reinforcing bars, clothing other than occupational clothing, electrical products, a number of textiles and clothing products, and napkins for babies. · In the countries of dispatch for all other industrial products concerned.
