This Draft Tanzania Standard specifies requirements, sampling and test methods for mosquito repellent soap for body cleaning and protection from mosquito bites. This standard applies to mosquito repellent soaps containing N, N-diethyl-3-methylbenzamide (DEET) as the active ingredient supplied in the form of bars/cakes and produced from vegetable or animal oils or fats, fatty acids, or from a blend of all or part of these materials, with or without the addition of rosins or non-soapy surfactants
