It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No. 130/2005 (11 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/1 dated 14 December 2005 mandated among others the earlier version of the Standard ES 1008-14, and its draft was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/1/Add.11 dated 6 February 2020. Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with CXS 262-2006 adopted in 2006, amended in 2010, 2013, 2016, 2018, 2019 Codex stand for mozzarella. Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.
