It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No. 515/2005 (10 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/2 dated 14 December 2005 mandated among others the earlier version of this Standard, and its draft was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/2/Add.14 dated 6 February 2020. Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with CODEX STAN C-1/1966 Adopted in 1996. Revised in 2007. Amended in 2008, 2010, 2013, 2018, 2019. Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.
