The amendments contain rules on sale of goods by net weight or measure or quantity; prepackaged goods; grading of eggs offered for sale; declaration to be on every package; declaration of quantity on a package; units to be used in quantity declaration; metrological requirements; suitability of instruments used for measuring; prepackages other than those made up for sale using suitable instrument on retail premises from which they are sold; prepackaged products with special allowances for loss of quantity; prepackaged food stuffs on which the drained mass shall be indicated; requirements applicable to inspection of prepackages; deceptive package; alteration, removal of declaration; and Procedure for determining quantity in packages.
