The Ministerial Decree No. 610 /2020 gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian standard ES 8398.

This standard defines sections, content, and general format of the safety data sheet (SDS) for chemical products and does not define a fixed format, nor does it include a blank SDS.

Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with ISO 11014 /2009 (confirmed 2020)
