This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 610 /2020 (4 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 8350-2 "Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) - Bonding quality - Part 2: Requirements" (9 page(s), in Arabic)

It should be noted that the draft of this Egyptian Standard was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/236 dated 12 November 2019.

Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with ISO 10033-2/2011 (confirmed in 2017).

Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.

Proposed date of adoption: 4 December 2020.

Proposed date of entry into force: 15 January 2021.
