The Authority has made regulations on matters consistent with the object of the Electronic Communications Act, 2005 (Act No 36 of 2005) (“ECA”) in order to ensure that all types of electronic communications equipment, electronic communications facility or subscriber equipment used or to be used in connection with the provision of electronic communications are authorised by the Authority.
