This addendum concerns the notification of draft of Egyptian Standard ES 8187 "Energy efficiency of household electrical appliances - methods for measuring and calculating energy efficiency of electric instantaneous water" (partial amendment in 2 pages, in Arabic).

It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No. 103/2019 (2 pages, in Arabic) mandated among others the earlier versions of this Standard.

Worth mentioning is that this standard has been partially modified in the following items:

The introduction & the scope.
Table 1 “ Energy efficiency levels for instantaneous water heaters classified by the declared distinguished load in percentage".
This draft has been formulated according to National Studies.

Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standard through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette.
