These Rules shall apply to water meters;

a) for use for trade of cold potable water and hot water.

b) used for purposes of production, irrigation, and natural resource monitoring.

c) whose principles of operation include among others mechanical, electromagnetic and ultrasonic.

These Rules shall also apply to ancillary devices.
