The Ministerial Decree No. 250 /2022 gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian standard ES 3368/2020 which applies to motor vehicles, towed vehicles, motorcycles and mopeds as defined in ISO 3833.

This standard cancels and supersedes its last edition ES 3368:2005

Worth mentioning is that this standard is identical to ISO 3779:2009
